I am a 40 years old nanny that has been in the child care business for over 10 years now since I was 30 years old. Although I found my first jobs through advertisement and classified ads, I find it much better to enlist my name in a Nanny Agency. They were able to provide me with steady work and as long as I satisfy the customers, I always get more work as a professional nanny.

Me too working as nanny, but from my experience, I get lot of jobs by references from my earlier clients. In other words by word of mouth. Other than this, I use my twitter, facebook to share about my experiences and I get few clients from there as well. So, I never tried with any online nanny services. But of course, it is true, I have some of my friends they are too doing child care, they said they get more jobs by online nanny services.

And yes, we should first of all look at the requirements from parents before accepting the job offer or before step into interview.

Your blog is cool, I would recommend this for my friends, nice tips and ideas... Cheers,
